Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh has appealed to the Chief Ministers of various states of India that the states should extend their fill co-operation to the Centre to fight Naxalism. He was addressing a conference of Chief Ministers who have assembled in New Delhi. Earlier, several issues were discussed including price rise and now the focus was on Naxalism. Manmohan Singh also added that cross-border terrorism, naxalism and violence in the name of religion have become some of the biggest problems for the state and central governments today. Apart from this, he pointed out that some anti-national forces have introduced fake currency into the open market to weaken the financial condition of the country. Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh has appealed that unless state and centre fight such problems jointly, it will become very difficult to control or stop all these inhumane activities.
