The Kovvur MLA's fasting episode reached a critical stage and he was forcibly hospitalized. The TDP's MLA' demand to remove all cases on him is certainly misplaced. if he is, as he claims, innocent, one sees no reason for him to resort to such wild theatrics. Being a MLA it is grossly unfair of him to expect a head of state to intervene in an ongoing central investigation. It is extremely clear that the MLA is motoivated and driven by a political agenda of his masters. His fast-unto death has weakened his helath condition considerably. “His health condition has deteriorated drastically. So, we had to shift him to Gandhi hospital,” Gandhi Nagar Inspector, S Sudhakar said. His family members had protested against any move to remove him and Rao also claimed that he was in good health. Rao had also threatened that if he was removed forcibly, he would come back from the hospital and resume the hunger strike. Apart from TDP leaders N Janardhan Reddy, M Narsimhulu, K Vijayarama Rao and large number of party workers, PRP leader B Shobarani also called on Rao and expressed her sympathies.
