Nagarkurnool MP Mandha Jagannath manhandled the manager of a rural cooperative bank for "delaying loans to candidates from SC and ST communities." The MP caught hold of manager Ravindra Nath Reddy's shirt, dragged him from his chair and asked him why he was not sanctioning loans despite the Government Order J/581/2008Ð09 ÅäD: 31.12.2008. The manager replied that he was short of personnel and hence was not in a position to process the loans. To this the MP got agitated further and pushed him around. Finally Ramulu the MLA from Acchampet had to intervene and calm the situation down. Later Ravinder Reddy told media persons that he would complain to the PM about the MP and said that most of the applicants who asked for loans were not covered by the government schemes.
