Alasyam Amrutham is going to be another movie from the house of Suresh Productions. Infact this is going to be Ramanaidu’s 135th movie as a producer. Starring Nikhil of Happy Days fame and Madalasa Sharma, this youthful entertainer has music from Koti. 123telugu.com takes a look at how hum-able is the music.
1.Edavakey
Singers: Ranjith, Jogi, Sunitha
Karthik’s voice is so pleasing to listen any day, and this one being a song to appease child is soothing to listen. It is a good sign to start off an album on a positive note. Yes, the tune of Edavakey could have been better, but Rama Jogayya Sastry’s lyrics make it up for it – overall the words are quite catchy. One thing is for sure that music director Koti sets us up for an album without too many complex sounds to listen to.
2. Modati kshanam
Artists: Sri Krishna, ML. Sruthi
Lyricist: Vanamali
A romantic number from the outset, Modati Kshanam banks heavily on guitars. Strange that Vanamali is the chosen one to lyrics for such songs, and he rarely disappoints. Koti’s tunes are always appreciable, and this one is just an example. Over all a very nice number and Koti’s crooning in the high pitch adds a good feel to the song.
3.Hey Pilla
Artists: Ranjith, Geetha Madhuri
Lyricist: Kedarnath
Hey Pilla, inspite of its start, has a hum-able beat to it. It has got the conversational style of songs, which we can find mostly in Kalyani Malik’s tunes. Obviously this one is more of a situational song, as the boy and girl each try to outdo the other.
4.Olammi Tingarabucchi
Artists: Simha, Chaitra. HG
Lyricist: Kedarnath
Olammi Tingarabucchi is a song, tuned, composed, written for the masses. Koti tries to indulge in some fast beats, but the lyrics and the overall tune have nothing much in them.
5. Daga Daga Daga
Artists: Sri Krishna, Sai Sivani
Lyricist: Rama Jogayya Sastry
Daga Daga Daga is what can be called a good item number. Koti has created many songs like these, and he is much better with this one, than the previous one. There is a touch of comedy added, thanks to the variations added by Sri Krishna, based on some old hits of Telugu.
Overall, the songs of Alasyam Amrutham are uncomplicated, and easy to listen to. All the songs have been composed to entertain. The songs Modati Kshanam, Edavakey stand out along with an entertaining item number. Alasyam Amrutham, on the whole is a decent album from Koti.
