Family hero Jagapathi Babu, has been going great in his second innings in Tollywood. To cash in on his success, some of his old and unreleased films are being brought back to life. One such film is April Fool. Also starring Bhoomika Chawla and Ranadhir in lead roles, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

Story:-

Kaki(Ranadhir) is a young innocent man who is always made fool of by everyone . One day he gets a dream and starts seeing what is going to happen the next day. Once he realizes that all this is a dream, a couple Jagapathi Babu and Bhoomika get involved in the whole incident.

How are they involved ? What connection does these all three have ? What happens next, is the rest of the story all about.

Plus Points:-

Bhoomika and Jagapathi Babu still manage to look good in this over the top film. Jagapathi Babu tries hard to salvage this film which is absolutely meaningless.

Minus Points:-

April Fool is a film which can get as bad as it is. Not even single scene in the film makes sense. Right from the word go, till the interval point you don’t have any clue as to what is going on in the film.

Happy Days fame Ranadhir, dominates the first half and hams in every possible way. All his scenes look so over the top and atrocious that you feel like running away from the theatre.

One can really be surprised how seasoned actors like Jagapathi Babu and Bhoomika have accepted to do this film. Both their characters and screen presence look absolutely silly.

The icing on the cake to make this film even more torturesous is the villain’s role played by legendary Gulshan Grover.

Technical Aspects:-

Music of the film is horrible and thank god, there are not many songs which makes things even worse. Screenplay is the biggest villain in the entire film.

None of the scenes make sense, and the entire first half is like a drama and has no connectivity to the story. Dialogues are horrible and so is the editing.

Director has completely failed in getting together a script and has done a even bad job at executing this film. He has managed to murder a simple story line, and has tried to tell it in a satirical way makes matters worst.

Verdict:-

On the whole, April Fool is one film which will make a total fool of your senses. If you hate someone and want to see them frustrated and irritated, make them watch this movie, and feel happy that you are not the only one who has suffered this trauma.
