Real Star Srihari, who is essaying supporting roles these days, is back as a solo hero with the film ‘Police Game’. This movie has Kota Sreenivasa Rao in a crucial role and most of the cast are new faces. The movie has released today, so lets see how it is.

Story :-

Radha Krishna(Srihari) is an honest police who is suspended frequently for his sincerity. He is given a crucial task by the DGP(Kota). The task is named as ‘Operation Drug mafia’ and the purpose of the task is to curb the evil practice of drug sales in the pubs managed by politicians.

Meanwhile a group of four guys are lured in to the crime business with the promise of free drugs and money. One of them falls in love with Radha Krishna’s sister Siri, but Radha Krishna is unaware of his identity.

How does Radha Krishna tackle the situation and what are the challenges faced by him in the process? Will he accept the alliance between his sister and the youth? That is the story of this film.

Plus Points :-

Srihari is the only saving grace in the movie. He has given a good performance. Dialogues in the movie are good to some extent. Kota Sreenivas Rao and the girl who acted as Srihari’s sister have perfomed well.

The message conveyed in the movie is good.

Minus Points :-

Screenplay is absolutely illogical. There is no continuous flow of scenes. Most of the scenes seem to be forced for the next scene to happen. Picturisation of two ‘item’ songs is terrible and disgusting.

Most of the actors are new faces and there is nothing much to speak about their performance. Logic goes for a toss completely and there is not a moment in the film which grabs your attention. The whole movie is predictable and the interval twist doesn’t create much of an impact.

Bramhanandam is wasted in a miss and blink appearance and couldn’t evoke laughter either. Namitha(debut) has played the female lead but she does not have anything to do in the film. She is often seen in skimpy clothes, although she is a cop in the movie.

The climax fight is over the top and tests the patience of the audience. There is not even a single scene worth applauding.

Technical aspects :-

The poor casting in the movie couldn’t help the movie. The production values are very bad and they further deteriorate the overall viewing experience. Two songs in the movie are very badly shot with horrible artists and could have been avoided completely.

Background score is just about ok. Direction of the movie is a big let down. Cinematography is just average.

Verdict :-

Its sad to see an actor of Srihari’s potential being wasted in a movie like this. There is nothing novel to offer in the movie and none of the emotions were shot effectively. You can completely avoid this movie in theatres as well as in TV. It is a pure waste of time.
