Vaisakham :
After a long gap, director B Jaya has come up with yet another romantic entertainer titled Vaisakham. The film created a decent pre-release buzz when the makers roped in stars like Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu and Naga Chaitanya for promotions. Vaisakham released last Friday and got an above average response from trade circles.
No 3rd position at the box office. .
The major plus point in the movie is the visually rich songs that were shot in picturesque foreign locales. Hero Harish and heroine Avantika impress with their dancing skills. DJ Vassanth's music is quite good. A few crucial scenes that come in the second half create an impact.
Scenes come and go right from the opening scene to the interval without making much sense. The second half is predictable. The romance showcased between the lead pair lacks freshness and it dampens the narrative.
