The much-awaited comedy-drama Hera Pheri 3, headlined by Akshay Kumar, went on floors last year. However, an issue brewed when Paresh Rawal announced his exit from the project without citing a proper reason. This led to a huge backlash against the actor back then. Akshay Kumar, who is also producing the film, sued Paresh Rawal for his unprofessional behaviour and claimed damages worth Rs. 25 crores.
Later, the issue was resolved, and fans breathed a sigh of relief. However, the latest media reports, attributing the source to Bollywood Hungama, claimed that Paresh Rawal had once again exited the project. These reports created confusion among franchise fans, who feared they would not witness Paresh Rawal as Baburao.
However, Bollywood Hungama has now clarified that media outlets mistakenly picked up their old report and misled viewers without proper fact-checking. Paresh Rawal is very much a part of the comedy caper, and there is no reason for concern among Hera Pheri fans, the media outlet mentioned.
After a few underwhelming outings, Karthi made an interesting choice by joining hands with MAD director Kalyan Shankar. The lovable actor celebrates his birthday today, and the team extended heartfelt wishes to the Awara star on the special occasion.
The shoot is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad, with the makers currently canning key sequences featuring the principal cast. The title and first look are set to be unveiled soon.
Tentatively titled Karthi30, the film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. The project is being bankrolled by Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner. Mirai and Eagle director Karthik Ghattamaneni, who is also a cinematographer, is cranking the camera.
