Published on Dec 22, 2022 12:06 pm IST

Dhamaka is up for a release tomorrow and on this occasion, we caught up with Ravi Teja for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.

About the positive buzz for Dhamaka?

Yes, our film is carrying a very positive vibe and any actor would be very happy with such a sign. We have worked hard on the film and our work will speak for itself and I hope the audience will like it.

About your previous flops?

Every film I did in the past, I believed in it. But sadly, they did not work at the box office. Our aim is to try and try until you succeed. Some click and some fail and we cannot do anything but keep on trying for the best.

Similarities with Chiru’s Rowdy Alludu?

I am getting this question a lot these days. In a way, there are some similarities with Rowdy Alludu but it is not the same. You will know how new is the film when you watch it on the big screen. Such entertainers have been there for a long time and we have also tried our own version.

About Bheem’s music?

He has taken this film to the next level as every song in the film has become a big hit. Bheems is a very silent person and does not market himself properly. I wish that he goes to greater heights with this film.

Working experience with Sreeleela?

She is an amazing talent who will go places in Telugu cinema. She is pretty, acts well, and is a Telugu-speaking girl. She is a very hardworking person and I had a lovely time shooting with her in Dhamaka.

How are you managing to do so many films at a time?

I have struggled a lot to come to this position. Being on a film set is like a festival for me. I am content while doing films and working on multiple films is nothing new to me and I look forward to entertaining the audience all the time.

A word about the producers?

I am so happy with the makers. They are such positive people and are passionate about their work. I had a ball while shooting for the film and hope that this film brings them loads of money.

About Waltair Veerayya?

I am super thrilled about the audience’s reaction to seeing me and Chiru sir on screen. I have been a huge fan of his and I have a very powerful role in the film and as it is being directed by Bobby, I am even happier.

How is Tiger Nageswara Rao shaping up?

It is my first Pan-India film and it is shaping up quite well. I play a different role and will speak about it in the days to come. For now, I am eager to know the reaction of the public on the first day first show.
