For the past few days, there has been a lot of chatter about the promotions of Kalki 2898 AD. A few naysayers opined that the movie doesn’t have hype at the ground level, but the limited advance bookings of the Prabhas starrer proved them wrong. The movie is poised for a gargantuan opening all over the world.
While Prabhas fans are trying their best to secure the tickets, here is something that will lift their spirits. In the special interview that featured the film’s cast and crew, Amitabh Bachchan asked Prabhas how it was working for Kalki 2898 AD, as it can be termed both a period and sci-fi film.
Prabhas said, “My character has a lot of grey shades. I will be seen as a superhero, and there is also a humor touch to it. Telugu audiences have seen me in roles like these before. But for non-Telugu audiences, this is the first time they will be watching me in a funny character with grey shades. I think this is the best character I have ever played in my life.”
These words have come straight from the PAN India star himself, and this should further enhance the excitement before the release. Produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie also has Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and Saswata Chatterjee in key roles.
