Vinoth is helming the biggie, and it marks the first collaboration between Vijay and the director. H. Vinoth stated in an award function that Thalapathy69 would be a commercial entertainer.

According to the latest buzz in Kollywood film circles, Thalapathy Vijay will be seen as an ex-cop in his last feature film. Already, there is a lot of speculation that Thalapathy69 is the adaption of the Telugu hit film Bhagavanth Kesari, and this fresh buzz has fueled the rumors. To note, Balakrishna also played the role of ex-cop in Anil Ravipudi’s directorial.
