Ravi Kumar Chowdary, who hogged the limelight with Gopichand’s Yagnam in 2004, has gone through a lean phase till last year and he bounced back strongly with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham He is now desperately trying to improve his success graph with Gopichand’s upcoming film. On the eve of his birthday tomorrow ( August 25th), we caught up with him for a brief interview. Let’s see what he has to say.
Q) Firstly, wishing you a happy birthday ! Give us the latest update on Gopichand’s project ?
Thanks ! Already, we have wrapped up the shooting for the first part of film and the editing has also been completed. The entire team is quite happy with the output so far.
Q) How is this movie going to be ?
This movie is going to be an out and out commercial entertainer like my last film. This movie will be completely different from Yagnam
Q) What did you learn after the success of Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham ?
After a string of flops, I completely assessed my way of approach and came to known that entertainment is a key factor for the film’s success. Now, I am ensuring that all my movies contain the entertainment factor.
Q) How is your career after success ?
It is very nice. I have four projects up my sleeve and I will direct them one after another without taking much gap. Now, there is a lot of responsibility on me.
Q) What decisions have you taken on this birthday ?
I decided not to take much gap between my upcoming projects.
Q) How important is this year going to be in your career ?
This year is very special to me. I bagged many offers and I need to continue my success graph.
Q) What are your upcoming projects ?
After completion of Gopichand’s film, I will direct a big budget movie in January next year. Also, I have a few more projects lined up.
