Young Tiger NTR’s forthcoming action drama, Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava, is all set for a massive release on October 11th. On this occasion, Tarak interacted with the media. Here is the transcript.
Q) Firstly, didn’t you feel the title Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava is a bit long?
A) Yes, the title is a bit long and so is the content of the film. Our film has strong content, which actually revolves around the title. Though the film runs in the faction backdrop, it undercurrently showcases the importance of women.
Q) A few words about your collaboration with Trivikram?
A) We have been trying to work together for the past few years, but nothing materialized due to some glitches during the script stage. Luckily, everything fell into place for this project. Since we have been close associates for more than a decade, we have tried to deliver a genuine film. I hope the audience will also accept our work.
Q) The film’s trailer has a lot of violence in it. Is it really necessary to show so much violence in films?
A) It’s not mandatory, but when you are presenting a sensitive issue like Factionism, you should first showcase the demerits in it. Only then the message you give will have a strong impact. We had many faction films in the past that wrapped up with a social message. In the same way, we have discussed a unique point and also tried to give a solution.
Q) How did Trivikram handle the post-Agnyaathavaasi pressure on sets?
A) Pressure was always there not only for him but for all of us too. We work under pressure for every film we do. Coming to Trivikram, one success or failure will not decide a director’s caliber. Even I gave many hits and flops in the past. Irrespective of hits or flops, he is a talented director and a brilliant writer. We both enjoyed working on the sets.
Q) The audio album has less commercial songs and it disappointed your fans a bit. Tell us about it?
A) That’s what I said at the pre-release event. I am an actor first. I don’t like to stick to a particular parameter, but I try to explore myself in more possible ways. I hope fans will understand my actual intention (laughs). This film has a strong content and very good situational songs.
Q) Peniviti is one song which is a huge hit. A few words about it?
A) Yes. It was a strange coincidence which happened in our lives. We shot the song just a few days after Nanna passed away. I am emotionally attached to the song and so is my mom. Incidents like these make me feel that everything in life is pre-destined. You will see Trivikram’s signature creativity in this song.
Q) What sort of impact does Aravindha Sametha has on Tarak?
A) As a person, this film has influenced me a lot right since the time I had listened to the script. It changed my perception towards certain things and made me a better person.
Q) Finally, your take on social media?
A) It’s a sign of growth which everyone should accept. Rather than simply denying it, we should follow it but should definitely know the boundaries.
