Interview : Phani Krishna Siriki – Crazy Fellow is a family entertainer

After 6 years of gap, director Phani Krishna Siriki is coming up with a new movie called Crazy Fellow. The movie is up for release this Friday. On this occasion, we met with the director Phani Krishna for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.

Tell us about Crazy Fellow?

I have been working on this story for the last 4-5 years and finally, it is about to release this week. Crazy Fellow is a family entertainer that has all elements which both youth and family audiences will connect to. I assure you that everyone will leave theaters with a smile on their faces.

Tell us about Aadi’s character?

I promise that you will see a new Aadi in Crazy Fellow. It’s been many years since we see Aadi in a lover boy role. So, I wanted to make this movie with him and he is a perfect fit. In general, many of us cut calls while the other person is still on the call. Aadi is such a crazy person and what problems he faced next is the rest of the story. In simple, he is villain in his story.

Producer support while making the movie?

KK Radhamohan garu is a good person. He always come up with options when we discussed about budget. He is friendly and as we worked more on pre-production, the budget is in control.

Did you narrate the film to any other actors?

Yes, I narrated the story to Ram Pothineni after iSmart Shankar released. Sravanthi Ravikishore garu liked it but said that Ram should have done this kind of film after Nenu Sailaja. So, I roped in Aadi to play the lead.

Future projects?

For now, I have signed no projects and will announce for sure soon. I am eagerly waiting for the audiences’ response.
