Telugu actor Allu Arjun, whose iconic gesture from the film Pushpa: The Rise created a sensation worldwide, has made history as the first Tollywood actor to win a National Film Award. Today, he and his wife Sneha Reddy and the film’s producers graced the award ceremony in New Delhi.
After receiving this prestigious award, he spoke to the media and expressed his feelings: “This moment is beyond words. I’m truly humbled and honored. Receiving this award for a commercial film like ‘Pushpa’ is a double achievement for me. He concluded his speech by reciting the film’s iconic dialogue, Taggede Le, while gesturing it.
Allu Arjun is set to appear in the sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, currently in production and scheduled for release on August 15, 2024. The movie stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagadeesh, and Sunil in pivotal roles. Pushpa 2 is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, featuring music by Devi Sri Prasad.
