Over 20 years ago, director Selva Raghavan’s 7/G Brundavan Colony became a massive hit, creating a cult following in both Tamil and Telugu. Starring Ravi Krishna and Sonia Agarwal, the film captured the hearts of audiences and has remained a beloved classic ever since. In recent years, rumours of a sequel have been circulating, and now, the long-awaited announcement has finally arrived.
Selva Raghavan chose New Year’s Day to reveal the sequel’s title: 7/G Rainbow Colony 2 (Tamil) and 7/G Brindavan Colony 2 (Telugu). Along with the announcement, the first-look poster was unveiled, featuring the leads walking down a dark, street-lit road surrounded by towering buildings.
Ravi Krishna will reprise his role as the lead, and his romantic interest will be portrayed by the talented Malayali actress Anaswara Rajan. Presented by AM Ratnam, this highly anticipated film will feature music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Ramji. With the shooting nearing completion, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on this exciting sequel.
