In 2019, the modestly budgeted comedy thriller Mathu Vadalara, starring Sri Simha Koduri, the younger son of Oscar winner MM Keeravaani, hit the screens and emerged as a blockbuster. Fast forward four years and the creators are now gearing up for an eagerly awaited sequel.
Amidst strong speculations, the sequel’s pre-production is in full swing, with regular shooting scheduled to commence in February 2024. The filmmakers have set their sights on a July 2024 release, and an official announcement is on the horizon.
Ritesh Rana will don the director’s hat for this sequel. Sri Simha Koduri, along with Satya and a fresh ensemble of actors, will headline the sequel. This venture is a collaborative effort between Clap Entertainment and Mythri Movie Makers, with Kaala Bhairava orchestrating the musical composition.
