Aamir Khan’s take on why Hindi films are failing

Aamir Khan is busy with the promotions of his new film Lal Singh Chadha. The film is up for a release on the 11th of this month and needs to deliver at the box office.

As big Hindi films are already flopping, the onus is now Aamir’s film. When asked why Hindi films are failing, Aamir says “Historically, films which are bad and fail to impress the audience don’t work at the box office. That’s what has happened. Films like Pushpa, The Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 were liked by the audience, and hence they worked at the box office.”

Lal Singh also has Kareena Kapoor as the heroine. The film is also releasing in a big way in Telugu and Tamil.
