Hours after Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman announced his separation from his wife, Saira Banu, his bassist Mohini Dey’s announcement on her separation sparked wild rumors. For the past couple of days, social media has been abuzz with speculations that Mohini Dey was the reason behind AR Rahman’s split from his wife of 29 years.
While Rahman has been maintaining a dignified silence on the ongoing rumors, Mohini seems to have had enough and decided to end the noise around her once and for all. She took to Instagram and shared a story in which she called the rumors “Absolute BS!”
“I’ve been getting a humungous amount of requests for interviews and I know exactly what its about so, I have to respectfully turn each one down because I am not interested in fueling into ABSOLUTE BS! I believe my energy is not worth spending on RUMOURS,” Mohini posted, requesting everyone to respect her privacy.
