For the past couple of days, young actress Pragya Nagra’s name has been doing the rounds on social media for the wrong reasons. A private video, allegedly featuring Pragya Nagra, has been leaked on the internet and extensively shared on social media.
After a day of painful silence, Pragya finally opened up about the alleged private video. She took to X on Saturday and wrote, “Still in denial, and still hoping that it’s just a bad dream that I will wake up from.” She went on to add that technology was meant to help us and not make our lives miserable.
“Can just pity the evil minds who misuse it to create such AI content and the people who help spread it,” shared the young actress, clarifying that the video is AI-generated. She further said that she is trying to stay strong and grateful to all the people who stood by her. “I hope and pray that no other woman has to go through such an ordeal, and that all of you stay safe,” she concluded.
Pragya hails from Haryana and made her acting debut with Tamil star Jiiva’s Varalaru Mukkiyam in 2022. She made her Tollywood debut with the recently released
youthful entertainer, Laggam.
