Meher Ramesh’s new film Bholaa Shankar starring Chiranjeevi, will release in a couple of days. Meanwhile, in an interview, Meher Ramesh spoke about the film’s original version Vedhalam, which ignited huge controversy on social media. Meher stated that he removed a few scenes in Bholaa Shankar as he considered them to be cringe. This has not gone well with Ajith fans.
In this regard, Meher Ramesh came up with a tweet. Meher wrote, “I loved Vedalam when watched in 2015 and admired how the original story by director Siva sir showed strong bonding of a brother&sister, a sentiment that reflects millions of people, and wanted to show it to our Telugu audience. In 2009, I remade Ajith sir’s Billa with Darling Prabhas, and now again, I’m grateful for the opportunity to do Ajith Sir’s Action entertainer “Vedalam” as Megastar’s Bholaa Shankar.”
A few Ajith fans are happy with the statement given by Meher Ramesh. A few opined that the director should have been careful while speaking about a particular film. The Telugu version stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles.
