Young Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty has been one of the most sought-after actresses in the South ever since the humongous success of the KGF franchise across the world. Even though her subsequent film, Vikram’s Cobra, failed to set the box office on fire, Srinidhi went on to sign two movies in Telugu, Siddu Jonnalagadda’s Telusu Kada and Nani’s HIT 3.
And if the ongoing buzz in the Tamil film circles is anything to go by, Srinidhi Shetty has been roped in for a crucial role in none other than Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s most eagerly awaited sequel, Jailer 2. Apparently, Srinidhi will be seen in a lead role along with Tamannaah, who sizzled in a special song in Jailer. An official confirmation regarding Srinidhi’s inclusion in Jailer 2’s cast is awaited.
Jailer 2 is being directed by Nelson and produced under the Sun Pictures banner. Anirudh Ravichander will compose music for this crazy sequel. More official updates are expected to be out either on New Year’s Eve or during the Pongal festival. Stay tuned for further updates.
