Ahead of Devara’s release, Pawan Kalyan offers his best wishes

The Andhra Pradesh government gave the much-needed boost to the makers of NTR’s most eagerly awaited pan-India action drama, Devara, by giving its nod to hike the film’s ticket prices and additional shows at single screens and multiplexes across the state. The official X handle of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts, one of the production houses that bankrolled Devara, today thanked AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for the timely gesture.

In his response, Pawan Kalyan took to X and tweeted, “NDA Govt in AP under the leadership of Hon CM Sri @ncbn garu will always want the best to happen for Telugu film industry, irrespective of political affiliations of individuals.” Pawan went on to say that he personally knows the hardship of filmmakers and actors and what they had gone through during the YCP regime. He concluded his tweet by extending his best wishes to Team Devara. “I am wishing you very best for your film release,” said the actor-turned-politician.

Devara also features Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The Koratala Siva directorial is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna. The film is all set for a grand release worldwide on September 27.

NDA Govt in AP under the leadership of Hon CM Sri @ncbn garu will always want the best to happen for Telugu film Industry, irrespective of political affiliations of individuals. We respect that. But we will never stoop down like YCP Govt troubling film makers and actors.
