Ajith’s much-awaited action drama thriller Good Bad Ugly (GBU), directed by Adhik Ravichandran, is all set for a grand theatrical release this Friday, April 10, 2025. The film features Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.
The makers have officially announced that the movie has completed its censor formalities and has been awarded a U/A certificate. The final runtime has been locked at a crisp 2 hours and 19 minutes (139 minutes).
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) objected to a few scenes, leading to the removal and replacement of approximately 2 minutes of footage. Scenes involving the use of e-cigarettes have been removed and replaced with close-up shots, along with the addition of disclaimers.
Additionally, a few old songs and video clips used in the film were trimmed, and the filmmakers were asked to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for their inclusion. Certain dialogues, inappropriate gestures, and scenes were also muted or modified to enhance the viewing experience.
The film stars Arjun Das as the antagonist, with Priya Prakash Varrier, Simran, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, and others playing pivotal roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Good Bad Ugly is also set to release in Telugu and Hindi.
