The highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda was officially announced today, titled Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. This much-awaited project marks the return of the dynamic duo, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu.
The title was unveiled hours before the pooja ceremony. Balakrishna’s elder daughter, Brahmani, gave the first clap, and his younger daughter switched on the camera, making the event special for the entire team. Filming is set to begin in December 2024. Until then, Balakrishna will be wrapping up his work on NBK 109.
Thaman will once again score the music for Akhanda 2, with Pragya Jaiswal as the female lead. The film is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner. Further details will be revealed soon.
