It’s a known fact that the star actor Akshay Kumar has collaborated with critically acclaimed director Sudha Kongara for a film titled Sarfira, an official remake of Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru, which was directly released on Amazon Prime Video in 2020. Actor Suriya received an immense response from the audience for his performance.
The latest update is that the Sarfira trailer is censored with a runtime of 2 minutes and 34 seconds, and the trailer will be released tomorrow as per the ongoing buzz. The film has garnered decent buzz from the audience due to the impressive first glimpse. The film’s success is vital for Akshay Kumar, as his last two films are disasters.
The film features Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles. Sudha Kongara and Shalini Ushadevi penned the story, and Pooja Tolani wrote the dialogues. Sarfira is produced by Aruna Bhatia of Cape of Good Films, Suriya and Jyotika’s 2D Entertainment, and Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment. The much-awaited flick is all set to hit the screens on July 12.
