Tollywood star Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Jail on Saturday morning. The Pushpa 2: The Rule actor was arrested by Chikkadpally Police on Friday evening in connection with the Sandhya 70mm stampede case.
Within a couple of hours of his arrest, the Telangana High Court had promptly granted an interim bail to Allu Arjun and instructed the jail authorities to release him immediately. However, Allu Arjun had to spend the entire night in Manjeera Barracks at Chanchalguda Jail due to a delay in the paperwork by the police department.
Miffed with their lackadaisical approach, Allu Arjun’s legal team is planning to move the High Court against the policemen who are responsible for Allu Arjun’s delayed release. Bunny’s lawyers will be filing a contempt of court case against the policemen who allegedly delayed Allu Arjun’s release on purpose. We will have to wait for a few days to see how this new development unfolds.
