Amazon Prime Video, one of India’s leading OTT platforms, continues to expand its offerings with a diverse range of content across multiple Indian languages. Now, in an effort to enhance user experience, the platform has introduced a new add-on subscription.
Prime Video already offers over 25 Indian and international add-on subscriptions, and Apple TV+ is its latest addition. With this, subscribers can now enjoy critically acclaimed Apple TV+ content, including Severance, Ted Lasso, Echo 3, Prime Target, and more – directly on Prime Video for just Rs. 99 per month.
However, add-on subscriptions haven’t traditionally been popular among Indian viewers. It remains to be seen whether this new offering will attract subscribers. Will Apple TV+ content be compelling enough to change consumer habits? Only time will tell how this move plays out in India’s competitive OTT landscape.
