AP govt approves ticket rate hike for Balayya’s Daaku Maharaaj; Deets inside

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s highly anticipated action drama, Daaku Maharaaj, has just received a huge boost from the Andhra Pradesh sarkar. The Chandrababu Naidu-led government has approved the film’s ticket rate hike for Daaku Maharaaj for a period of two weeks during the Sankranthi festive season.

As per the latest G.O. issued by the government on Saturday evening, the ticket rates for Daaku Maharaaj’s benefit shows starting from 4 AM on January 12 have been capped at Rs 500 (incl GST). Daaku Maharaaj will also enjoy a special provision of five shows per day starting from January 12 to 25. And the ticket rates for these two weeks have been hiked by Rs 135 (incl GST) for multiplexes and Rs 110 for single screens.

Daaku Maharaaj also features Bollywood star Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Chandini Chowdary, and Urvashi Rautela in pivotal roles. Thaman is the music composer for his high-budget entertainer produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.
