Superstar Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla made an impressive debut with the film Hero. He is now coming up with his second film, which is being directed by Arjun Jandyala of Guna 369 fame. Prasanth Varma provided the story, while popular writer Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues. Somineni Balakrishna, an NRI (Film distributor), is producing the movie as Production No. 1 of Lalithambika Productions. Nallapaneni Yamini presents it.
The makers unveiled the title and teaser today. The movie is named Devaki Nandana Vasudeva. The teaser introduces the character of the protagonist and also the film’s premise. It begins with a voiceover that says, “Nee Biddaki Marana Gandam… Ledaa Athani Chethilo Marokariki Maranam,” and what follows is the protagonist making an action-packed entry as he indulges in a mud fight with rowdies. The mood turns soothing with the entry of his love interest, Varanasi Manasa.
The dialogue, “Dharma Samsthapanarthaya Sambhavami Yuge Yuge… Yugamedaina… Ye Kalamlonaina… Ee Bhummeeda Devudi Kante Rakshasude Mundu Pudathaadu… Vanni Champadanikai Devudoo Pudathaadu,” signifies the purpose of the birth of the protagonist. From dialogues to visual presentation to background chant, there are Lord Krishna references in the teaser.
Ashok Galla appeared in a mass avatar sporting a mustache and beard. Varanasi Manasa looked charming. Prasad Murella’s bright frames and Bheems Ceciroleo’s pleasant score are big add-ons. The film is mounted on a large scale, and the production design is superb. The release date will be announced soon.
