Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 2002 industry hit, Indra, had a re-release in cinemas worldwide to coincide with Chiru’s birthday and recreated the historic success once again. To celebrate the success, Indra’s core team, including producer Ashwini Dutt, director B Gopal, writers Paruchuri Brothers, Chinni Krishna, and music composer Manisharma, met Chiru at his residence, and the Megastat felicitated his team.

The veteran producer said that fans have been eagerly waiting for both sequels for a long time and that more details regarding both these crazy sequels will be out at an appropriate time.
It’s well-known that a sequel to Chiru and Sridevi’s iconic socio-fantasy drama, JVAS, has been in the news for several years, with Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor rumored to be reprising Chiru and Sridevi’s roles, respectively. The buzz also had it that Nag Ashwin, who grabbed the nation’s attention with Kalki, will be stepping into veteran director K Raghavendra Rao’s shoes to helm the JVAS sequel.
