There has been a lot of drama since this morning about Allu Arjun’s arrest. Back in the morning, the star actor was taken into Chikkadpally Police custody in connection with the Sandhya theatre stampede, which led to a woman’s death. After the medical tests in Gandhi Hospital, the actor was presented in the Nampally court by the police.
The Nampally court sentenced Icon Star Allu Arjun to 14 days judicial remand. After the court’s judgment, Allu Arjun was taken to Chanchalaguda jail. The actor had already filed a quash petition in the High Court requesting a stay on the legal proceedings and the dismissal of the FIR filed against him. The hearings in the High Court took place much after Nampally Court’s verdict.
Lawyer Niranjan Reddy argued in favor of the actor, but the court refused to quash the FIR at this stage. Later, Niranjan Reddy tried for interim bail, and nearly one hour after the heated arguments between him and the Public Prosecutor, the court granted interim bail to the star actor for a period of four weeks.
The judge opined that the blame could not be placed on the accused (Allu Arjun) since he neither knew his presence might lead to an untoward incident nor intended to harm the public. As the interim bail is now granted, Allu Arjun will be freed from judicial custody, which is surely great news for fans who have been upset since morning.
