Director Buchi Babu Sana’s debut film, Uppena, was a solid blockbuster that grossed 100 crores. The movie won the “Best Telugu Film” award at the 69th National Film Awards. Yesterday, Buchi Babu Sana said that his movie with Charan, tentatively titled RC16, will be a big hit. Now, in another interview, the director said that RC16 isn’t just a sports drama but much more than that. He added that the film will be raw and rustic. Buchi Babu officially confirmed that AR Rahman will work on the film.
Buchi Babu Sana said, “I never expected that I would work with AR Rahman Garu so early in my career. Even from the scripting stage, I had AR Rahman Garu on my mind. Thankfully, my hero and my producers made that possible. AR Rahman Garu said that he hadn’t come across such a great story in recent times and told us that he would love to work with us.”
