Raayan, directed by Dhanush, is the second biggest hit of Kollywood in 2024, with about Rs.150 crores gross. This is the second film of Dhanush as a director after the critically acclaimed Pa Paandi. His next directorial NEEK (Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam) is ready to grace the big screens.
The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Dhanush will once again don the director’s hat. The actor is expected to direct a movie featuring Arun Vijay as the main lead. Dhanush is said to be in the final stages of negotiation with Arun Vijay, and if everything falls into place, we can get an official announcement.
A few reports also suggested that Dhanush will have a prominent role in this flick. Currently, Arun Vijay is busy with Bala’s Vanangaan, and the movie will soon hit the screens. If the speculations become true, it will be a giant leap in Arun Vijay’s career. On the other hand, Dhanush will be next seen in Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera.
