Bhool Bhulaiyaa, starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, is a phenomenal blockbuster and has earned cult status over the years. It is the Hindi remake of Manichitrathazhu (Chandramukhi in Telugu). The success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa paved the way for a franchise. In 2022, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was made with Karthik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani. The result was no different for the sequel, which earned a whopping 180 crores nett in India.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is currently in the making, and Karthik Aryan is once again reprising the role of Rooh Baba. Yesterday, the movie took the internet by storm with the announcement regarding Vidya Balan’s inclusion in the project. The latest reports from Bollywood suggest that eternal beauty Madhuri Dixit is also part of this horror comedy.

It is being said that the makers wanted to take the entertainment quotient a few notches higher by roping in another actress, and they believed Madhuri Dixit would be the right fit for it. The movie will hit the big screens during Diwali 2024. Anees Bazmee, who directed the second part, is helming this third installment as well.
