Actor Sai Durgha Tej’s upcoming pan-India period action drama, Sambarala Yeti Gattu (SYG), is the most expensive project in his career to date. The film is being made with a budget of over Rs 100 crores by its producers K. Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy.
Sambarala Yeti Gattu’s recently released ‘Carnage’ teaser hinted that the film is set in the Rayalaseema region. As per the latest buzz in film circles, SYG is a story of valor amid India’s independence revolt. The film highlights the heroics of a courageous young man who rebels against the British and ends the drought in the Rayalaseema region.
Sambarala Yeti Gattu also has acclaimed Mollywood actress Aishwarya Lekshmi in a lead role. The film is being directed by debutant Rohith KP, and it will feature a soundtrack composed by Ajaneesh Loknath. Primeshow Entertainment bankrolls the film, which is set to release on September 25, 2025.
