Kanguva is one of the most awaited films from South India in 2024. The makers are leaving no stone unturned for the promotions. The first single will be unveiled tomorrow on the occasion of Suriya’s birthday. The OTT release will happen only after 8 weeks of the theatrical release, and hence, the Hindi version will have a wide release in national chains, unlike Leo, Jailer, and Vikram.

The latest buzz in Kollywood film circles suggests that Suriya’s brother and amazing performer Karthi will make a special appearance at the end of Kanguva. It is being said that Karthi’s entry in the climax will serve as a lead for the second installment. Tamil audiences are hoping that Kanguva will be the first 1000-crore grosser from Kollywood.

Though the 1000 crore landmark isn’t a piece of cake, the film could well be the highest Tamil grosser in 2024, provided the content clicks and appeals to audiences across languages. Disha Patani plays Suriya’s love interest in this big-budget flick, which is a fusion of period drama and modern elements.

Bobby Deol is the antagonist. Studio Green, in association with UV Creations, is producing Kanguva. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes. The film will be out in cinemas on 10th October 2024.
