Chhaava, the latest Bollywood blockbuster, has crossed Rs. 500 crore nett and continues its strong run even in its fourth week at the box office. Starring Vicky Kaushal, the film was also released in Telugu, where it has received an exceptional response.
The Telugu version opened with a solid Rs. 3 crore gross on its first day, a commendable start for a Bollywood film. Interestingly, ticket sales on BookMyShow saw a remarkable jump on day two compared to day one.
While the film sold over 57,000 tickets on its opening day, the count surged to 69,000 on the second day, reflecting impressive growth. With the weekend ahead, the film’s box office performance is expected to rise even further.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The music is composed by AR Rahman, and the film is produced by Maddock Films.
