The recent Hindi language comedy entertainer Madgaon Express sprung a surprise at the box office by amassing over 35 crores nett in India. The collections of Madgaon Express dismissed the notion that small-budget films without top stars don’t perform well in theatres. The film had a superb long run at the ticket windows and the lack of biggies also benefited this comedy caper.
On May 3, the film made its digital debut on Prime Video on a rental model. The subscribers of the streaming platform can now enjoy the movie without paying any rental amount. Madgaon Express stars Mirzapur fame Divyendu, Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi, Nora Fatehi, and Avinash Tiwary in the lead roles.
Go Goa Gone fame Kunal Khemu is the writer and director, and the film marked his directorial debut. Apart from the direction, Kunal Khemu also made a cameo appearance. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani produced Madgaon Express under the Excel Entertainment banner.
