After being in the news for several months, pan-India star Prabhas’ movie under Sita Ramam fame Hanu Raghavapudi’s direction had its grand launch earlier today. Prabhas, Hanu, the film’s pride producers, Naveen and Ravi of Mythri Movie Makers, and the film’s leading lady, Imanvi, and several others took part in the pooja ceremony.

Following the launch, the makers of this as-yet-untitled film raised expectations by unveiling an intriguing concept poster. The poster showcases a battle between the British and Indian forces, while the British flag is seen getting burned. “When wars were a battle for supremacy, one warrior redefined what they were fought for,’ read the caption.

This as-yet-untitled film is set in pre-independent India from the 1940s era. The film explores the heroic tale of a warrior who rises from the shadows, emerging from a society that believed war was the only answer to the buried injustices and forgotten truths that history kept hidden from the world. “Not every historical event resonates with our emotions and thoughts, but this story is written by a warrior to bring justice to the people of his motherland,” read a note from the makers.

Acclaimed veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada will be seen in crucial roles in the movie. Chak de India fame Sudeep Chatterjee will crank the camera, while Vishal Chandrasekhar will compose the music.
