Confirmed: Nivetha Pethuraj’s heated argument with cops is a promotional stunt

Yesterday, a video featuring actress Nivetha Pethuraj surfaced online and it went viral over in no time. Nivetha was seen arguing with cops, who asked her to open the car’s boot. While the police officers started recording the video, Nivetha opposed it and asked them to stop filming. Many believed it to be part of a promotional activity since the police officers were not wearing proper uniforms.

Now, Zee5 shared a tweet confirming that the viral video is indeed a promotional stunt for the upcoming web series Paruvu. The web series will be available for streaming from June 14 in Telugu and Tamil languages.

Noted director Pavan Sadineni is the showrunner. Sushmitha Konidela is producing Paruvu under the banner of Gold Box Entertainment. Naga Babu, Naresh Agastya, and Praneeta Patnaik are playing vital roles.
