We have already reported that Bollywood star hero Ajay Devgn has five movies slated for release this year. This Friday, the actor’s horror thriller Shaitaan, which also stars Jyothika and Madhavan in key roles, is hitting the big screens. The makers of Ajay Devgn’s much-delayed film Maidaan earlier informed that the movie will release during Eid 2024.
But recently, there were rumors that Maidaan would be postponed to a later date to avoid direct competition with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. However, today, the makers of Maidaan dropped a new poster confirming the film’s release for Eid 2024. Also, it was revealed that the trailer will come out on March 7 and will likely be attached to the prints of Shaitaan.
Interestingly, Maidaan should have been released way before RRR, but the film was postponed several times due to delays in CG works. Maidaan is a biopic of renowned football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, the man who revolutionized the sport in India.
So two films of Ajay Devgn are coming to cinemas within a gap of one month, which doesn’t happen very often. Let’s see to what extent Shaitaan and Maidaan will captivate the audiences. Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which was supposed to hit the screens on April 26, is reportedly moving to a later date.
