Versatile actor Dhanush is currently busy working on multiple films. His next release is Kubera, directed by Tollywood filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. The film is set for release in June 2025. Dhanush will have two more releases this year, including Idly Kadai and Tere Ishk Mein.
The National Award winning actor has now announced his new film today which will be helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Mari Selvaraj. Earlier, the duo worked on the rural action drama Karnan, which was a commercial success. The film’s theatrical run was abruptly ended due to the Covid second wave.
Dhanush’s new film with Mari Selvaraj is tentatively titled D56. The makers released a theme poster suggesting that D56 is a historical action saga. Vels Film International will bankroll the project on a huge budget. More details will be unveiled soon.
