The pre-release event of Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj, planned for this evening in Ananthapuram, Andhra Pradesh, with Minister Nara Lokesh as the chief guest, has been cancelled.

The makers issued an official statement expressing their sorrow over a recent tragic incident at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupati. They described it as a deeply upsetting event at a place of devotion and hope for millions.

Out of respect for the sentiments of the people, they decided it would not be appropriate to proceed with the event and requested understanding from fans during this difficult time.

Daaku Maharaaj stars Bobby Simha, Shraddha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal, Urvashi Rautela, and Chandini Chowdary in prominent roles. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with music by Thaman.
