After a record-breaking first weekend, the weekdays have kicked in, and yet NTR’s recently released action drama, Devara, is rock steady at the box office. The makers have already announced that the film has surpassed the Rs 300 crore milestone at the global box office.
Meanwhile in the Nizam region, the Devara storm overpowered the Monday litmus test and registered solid numbers at the ticket counters. The film collected a decent Rs 2.34 crore share on Monday, taking the 4-day total share in the Nizam region to Rs 35.38 crore (excl GST). The Tuesday trends are proposing, and the film is expected to match the Monday numbers in the region. On the other hand, the film is inching closer to the Rs 100 crore club in the twin Telugu states.
Devara also features Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The Koratala Siva directorial is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna. Anirudh Ravichander’s chartbuster soundtrack has become a major highlight of this pan-India biggie.
