Lady Superstar Nayanthara will be seen next in the big-budget movie Jawan, with Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead role. Directed by Atlee, the film is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on September 7, 2023.
While some fans are eagerly anticipating Nayanthara’s return to the big screen, others are awaiting the OTT release of her last movie, Connect, a supernatural horror film. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan and produced by Vignesh Shivan, the movie was released in theaters on December 22, 2022, but failed to engage audiences. Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights, but there has been no announcement regarding the movie’s release on the OTT platform.
Meanwhile, Netflix announced that it will premiere a documentary about Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s marriage titled Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale. However, the streaming service has not revealed a premiere date for the documentary. Fans are frustrated with Netflix for not providing any updates on the availability of these two titles.
