Jr NTR’s Devara: Part 1 is one of the most awaited movies from Tollywood, and expectations are already sky-high, thanks to well-executed online promotions. The second trailer, in particular, has significantly boosted the buzz.
The movie’s pre-release event, scheduled for last night, was canceled due to concerns over overcrowding, potential stampede risks, and security reasons. Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor released video messages apologising for the cancellation.
Fans were deeply disappointed, and according to the latest news, the Devara team has no further plans to organize any events prior to the movie’s release. It is speculated that they might hold a press meet after the release, similar to what the Kalki 2898 AD team did.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR is off to Los Angeles to attend a screening of Devara at Beyond Fest. The screening is scheduled for September 26, 2024, making it impossible for him to participate in any other events before the release.
This news has disappointed Tarak’s fans, and we await further updates from the team on ways to uplift the fanbase. On the other hand, fans are eagerly awaiting the start of ticket sales in the Telugu states.
