Idly Kadai is an upcoming Tamil drama film directed by versatile actor Dhanush. Since it is coming after Raayan, there are good expectations in the trade circles. Apart from directing, Dhanush also plays the protagonist. Initially, the movie was supposed to clash with Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly on April 10, but it was postponed for multiple reasons.

Nithya Menen plays the female lead, while Arun Vijay plays the antagonist. Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures are jointly bankrolling the project, with GV Prakash Kumar rendering the music. Idly Kadai is expected to be released in Telugu under the title “Idly Kottu.”
