Dil Raju – Our meeting with Revanth Reddy Garu was focused on industry’s growth

Tollywood bigwigs, led by Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) Chairman Dil Raju, met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss the industry’s key issues. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka Garu and Cinematography Minister KomatiReddy Venkat Reddy also attended the meeting. The discussions were focused on the development and growth of the film industry at national and international levels.

Dil Raju said, “CM Revanth Reddy provided guidance and valuable inputs to enhance the film industry’s growth. There is no truth in the negative news being spread about the meeting. Matters that have not been discussed are being circulated and misrepresented as if they happened. The government is very supportive.”

Dil Raju added, “CM Garu shared his vision for the film industry. He aspires to make Hyderabad an international hub that also suits Hollywood productions. Everyone who attended the meeting thanked the CM for his guidance. We will work on his inputs and present a detailed proposal in the next meeting.”

A committee comprising film industry representatives and government officials will be formed to facilitate further collaborations. Dil Raju asserted that, as TFDC Chairman, he would act as the bridge between the industry and the government to promote collaborative efforts.

Dil Raju clarified the discussions were focused on the industry’s overall growth and not on trivial issues like ticket pricing and benefit shows. He also noted the government’s appeal to the industry celebs in promoting awareness about social issues. Dil Raju revealed that the government asked FDC to act as a catalyst for holding the Gaddar Film Awards every year.
