Today, the distributors of Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam held a gratitude meet to thank all the parties who supported the film. Producer Dil Raju and director Anil Ravipudi graced this event. During his speech, Dil Raju made some interesting comments, which are now going viral on social media.
The ace producer said, “Anil Ravipudi completed Sankranthi Vasthunam in just 72 days. He showed how to achieve success with perfect planning and execution. Not budgets but stories matter the most. Sometimes, we filmmakers forget this basic principle. Our banner reached great heights by believing in good stories and new directors.”
Dil Raju added, “In the last four to five years, we, too, hit a roadblock by believing in crazy combinations. Anil Ravipudi helped us realize what we are with Sankranthiki Vasthunam and showed us the way forward. We learned a lesson this Sankranthi.” These comments coming from Dil Raju, right after Game Changer’s humongous failure, have sparked discussions on social media.
The political drama headlined by Charan has been stuck in production over the years. This led to the budget going overboard, ultimately resulting in massive losses for everyone involved. Shankar was also criticized by many for wasting producer’s money and delivering a poor quality product.
